Delta Dental

An internal system change at Delta Dental resulted in a data submission gap in which updated records were not received when an enrollment segment closed. 

Replacement data has been received and applied to years 2015 forward, correcting disenrollment dates (ME163A) to close segments appropriately.

NOTE:  Some disenrollment dates for years 2013 and 2014 are still open. A methodology has been identified to close them and this processing will occur in the next build.

New: Data is no longer received from 99EBD1 after 2022-05-31. All open segments have been closed with the date 2022-06-01.

Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield

Less than 1% of medical claim records contain the value 9999-12-31 in Service date (MC059) and paid date (MC017). These are considered invalid and the submitting entity will resubmit to correct them in the future.

Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) Cancer Registry Data

The Cancer Registry file layout has changed for years 2020 forward. It is now in the Version 2023 NAACCR layout. All field names have changed and more fields have been added. Use the look up instructions provided in the data dictionary to find field definitions and to map back to older data.

NOTE: Cancer registry data is always a complete file replacement.

Enrollment data for pharmacy claims supplied by United Healthcare for the University of Central Arkansas has not been submitted.

These claims data are usable for studies that do not require enrollment or plan information.
