Action / Resolution | Values 12/31/9999 or Null in ME163A (date of disenrollment) indicate that the member enrollment segment is open. This is a good indicator to determine if the member is currently active. Use with caution, however. If the same member has an enrollment record for the same plan (often determined when the member's enrollment records are grouped on ME006, ME009, ME032, ME040, ME107, ME162A, and ME164A) where ME163A is not 12/31/9999 or null, the member's enrollment is closed as of that date. NOTE: This is applicable to data pulled prior to 2019. Thereafter, the final segments are delivered, eliminating the data requesters need to resolve open and closed segments. |
